Database safety standards

Standards play an important role in the designing, building and maintenance of machines and installations. But standards are not always easy to read and interpret. That is why D&F Safety Management Systems has been developing ‘Safety standards database’ since 1993.

DBVN (safety standards database) is a large databank containing standards of all European standards on machine safety, electrical safety, explosion safety and safety of pressure equipment. DBVN makes for easy searching in regulatory requirements and standards. The cross-references between standards are also directly accessible via hyperlinks.


Machine Safety Manager®

MSM®  is an automated system for performing risk assessments for work equipment. By running through the entire process with the MSM® you will automatically meet the relevant Legislation. The objects database serves as the basis for MSM® software. Per object (e.g. a machine) a risk assessment is carried out, including a test. MSMS® then drafts a plan of approach.


Michelle®

Michelle® is a revolutionary management suite where management of maintenance is combined with management of safety, health and environment (MSHE). Michelle® can be designated as a Loss Control Management suite (LCM). Michelle® is a tool that makes an automated contribution to minimisation of losses: Loss Control. Michelle® consists of two modules which can be purchased and used as stand-alone programmes.
